What this project took.
The existing deck had reached the end of its life. Rather than patch it, Blue Rock removed the failing structure entirely and engineered a new pergola system in its place — rebuilding the outdoor space to be safe, lasting, and genuinely beautiful to live in.
Exterior work like this is deceptively demanding: it's structural and design-driven at the same time. The framing has to be engineered to carry real loads and weather Ocean County seasons, while the carpentry and finish detailing have to read as crafted, not just constructed.
For a homeowner, it's a smaller-footprint example of the same discipline Blue Rock brings to a full transformation — structurally complex work delivered with luxury-grade precision.
